I just thought I would draw your attention to the artwork of Simon Stalenhag.
I have his print books, my son is somewhat obsessed with his unique digital art illustration style, which – I support can be roughly categorised as Cassette Futurism, maybe a touch of Atom Punk thrown in there. I even contacted him and he was kind enough to offer words of support to my son. So – nice bloke also.
My reason for sharing here is that VR is a theme threaded through his strange and unique universe. Many of his illustrations showing people using VR as communication and entertainment devices. His work is dark, unexplained, thought provoking, eerie, unsettling. I understand that “The Electric State” will soon be a movie!
