My experience of the Meta Oculus Quest 2 was negative. The device arrived with damage to the screen which was clearly visible through the optics as an irritating blur.
My mistake with the Meta Oculus Quest 2 was not ordering via a retailer that accept “dead on arrival” hardware returns without making you jump through tens of hoops. My experience of trying to return to Oculus was negative. In the end I didn’t replace the Meta Oculus Quest 2 and a stuck with the Quest 1 which has served me very well.
Meta *may* have improved in their ability to sell, ship and support their hardware but I am not risking it.
